Happy Christmas Indeed

We got some snow less than a week ago, so it was almost like a white Christmas!  Tom, Lindsey, Lane and I got up and opened presents with Grandma Eloise.  We took a walk at the Greenbank land trust with the dogs to burn some energy... and came back to a dinner with my mom and a beautiful sunset.  It was such a happy one this year at the beach house.

2013 on Film

Here are some of my favorites from my film camera (Pentax K1000) this year.  Sailing with my Dad on his new sailboat with Lane, adventuring during the summer, and relaxing with Christina and Lane in the back yard.  As this great year comes to a close, I can't wait for what the new year holds.

Ponderosa Couples Retreat

There is nothing quite like a weekend spent with some of your favorite people, in one of your favorite places.  Christina, Kelly, Lindsey and Tom were with us up in the Pondo.  Lindsey made a pot pie, we all went for a snow walk, played cards, and built a gingerbread house.  Lots of cheer was had!  We're all getting so excited for the holidays.

Trimmed the Tree!

Lane and I made our traditional trip to the tree farm again this year, along with my Dad.  We picked out a 6 foot beauty!  Able loves it too, he sleeps out in the living room every night now on his bed in front of the fire.  I think my favorite decorations have to be the little wooden figures we have, I think they came from someone on Lane's side of the family.  Speaking of Lane, he is the master at building fires.  He keeps it stocked with kindling and wood and it makes the house so cozy.
