Another year has passed in this life of mine... and I'm so excited for things to come! We are about to venture into parenthood. This is by far going to be our greatest adventure yet. I turned 7 months pregnant on this trip out to the coast for my birthday. My belly bump is bigger than ever, and I feel so strong and good. The baby moves throughout the day each day, taking rest breaks too. Lane gets to feel the majority of it in the mornings and evenings when I'm lying down.
As for this wonderful trip, we stayed out at La Push (1st Beach) the first night. There was a gorgeous fading sunset going on as we arrived and set up in tent spot #3. We walked on 2nd Beach the next day, then drove to Kalaloch to find a spot for the night. We nabbed the sweetest site, D33, right on the bluff overlooking the water. That night brought a little rain, but it was nothing a fire, two ponchos and a sturdy tent couldn't handle. The last morning we woke up to sun, and we found a cool secluded beach just north of where we were camped.
These birthdays just keep getting better... ;)
