A New Year

This year was a quiet one for us.  Lane has been sick with pneumonia and an ear infection, so we took it as easy as possible.  We made it out for a little walk with the dogs, Lindsey and Tom, which was good.  Getting some fresh air and family/doggie time was the perfect way to start out the year.  I'm so excited for what 2015 has in store for us!

The Tree

We kept to our tradition of getting the tree from the Shults' farm, Scattered Acres.  We opted for a less full one this year, because we have a little less space than in the past.  We went, we had cider, we cut, then went on our merry way to decorate!

Snowy Island

We woke up Saturday morning, looked outside, and it had snowed!  Probably about four or five inches fell.  The whole family so excited, we adventured, got some chores done, took a few photos (one for the Christmas card), and enjoyed the weekend together.  All the while remarking how beautiful the snow was and what perfect timing it had.

Bits of Lately

 Well folks, it's official.  2014 has been the year with the most changes yet for this little family... which will be growing by one this coming May!  Here are some shots from a lazy Saturday morning at the house that we, ahem, OWN.  Life is sweet, we're over the moon lately.  The fur family feels it too, they are just as happy as us in our new home. 

Peshastin Friends

 Here is a glimpse of our weekend visiting Christina and Kelly at their new house over on the East side of the mountains.  They have this cool log cabin just a hike up their property, too.  I love these people, this was such a lovely weekend with wonderful folks.  Did I mention they can cook?  

Holy smokes! We were fed like kings and queens and left feeling so happy and relaxed.
