Summer Beauty

While out and about taking photos for weddings and other occasions, I can't help but snap a few for myself.  I always seem to find something beautiful during these summer days.

Seven Lakes Basin Backpacking

We had an amazing trip above Sol Duc in the Olympic mountains.  We took three days and two nights to make the 22 mile loop of a trail.  The first night we stayed by Heart Lake, and the second we were by Lunch Lake.  Each night we were visited by mountain goats!  We also saw a black bear the second day.  I was awe struck by the beauty there, and though we were sore afterwards, we can't wait for our next adventure like this.
